12-Point Head Design
The 12 points of contact provided head, when compared to the 6 points of contact provided by standard hex socket product, is resistant to higher amounts of torque and will not round out.
This style of fastener will also achieve its recommended design torque to reach the maximum clamp load, creating a tighter, more secure bond between the fastened components in your assembly.
Built-In Flange
Thanks to the built-in flange, 12-Point Flange Screws will distribute the clamping load across a wider area, eliminating the need for a separate washer in your fastened assembly.
